Water Baby

Colby had his first swim lesson on Jan. 23. He loved the pool! The instructor gave him high marks, and he was even was kicking at the end of class. He has 8 weeks to become the next Michael Phelps! He's got the Michael part down, but more like Michael Jordan. See tongue comparison below. His little tongue is always out when he's working hard. ;)

Colby's Culinary Adventures

Colby loves when 5:30 pm rolls around. DINNERTIME! He gets to sit in his neato chair, have special toys to play with, and of course, play with his food. He's a lot like his dad as a little boy, and he must touch everything that goes into his mouth.

I got a Beaba Baby Cook from my aunt and cousin (thanks Rox and Amy!), so I have been making most of Colby's food. He seems to like the end result, but to be truthful, I don't think he's picky. He just tried to eat my toe.

Wrigley also likes this time of night. She gets fed, and waits for Colby to fling a pureed fruit or veggie in her direction. Bon Appetit!

Dance Party

Colby had a little pre-dinner entertainment tonight. He was very amused at his mom's dancing skills. See for yourself!

Christmas and New Year's 2009

Colby's first Christmas was wonderful. Despite the weather that delayed our travels, we had a very nice holiday. We were with my family on Christmas eve, my dad on Christmas, and the Thompson's in Nebraska the weekend after. Our New Year's was spent with 11 other friends in the Wisconsin Dells. Our 2009 wrapped up nicely and we are excited for more fun to come in 2010!
